Overview
AI Assistant is a Pro feature designed for local-first assistance. It is intended to work with a local Ollama endpoint rather than a managed cloud workflow.
Intended uses
- summarize a node or session context
- help draft or refine report text
- generate command ideas to review manually
- assist vulnerability analysis
Requirements
- Pro edition
- a reachable local Ollama instance
- at least one installed model
Privacy model
The product direction is local-first. You are expected to connect PentestPath to infrastructure you control rather than sending session data to a hosted AI service by default.
